I'm not even going to pretend that 2+ months have gone by since I posted anything. Because they most certainly did. Yes indeedy.
Still on the wagon, but honestly, it's the lazier wagon. I'm still part of the program but if I'm being honest (and I am), I'm not giving it 100% of my effort. Jesus, I hate admitting that.
I've been dividing my weekends between here and where the boyfriend lives, so meeting attendance has been bi-weekly at some points. I don't consider that a huge factor in my fuckupery since I can go to a meeting whenever I want. The big factor is something shocking, hold on to your hats: I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing.
(dramatic gasps all around. go ahead. do it. i'll wait.)
I'm not tracking my food. I'm not measuring my food. I'm not paying attention to how much of what I'm consuming, and how many points should be attributed to that what.
One of the women at my meeting this morning got past the 100lbs lost mark. Goddamn, that must feel amazing. I'm glad I went to this morning's meeting because I needed to hear and see her victory.
I want that. I want to go to there.
So, in the words of my dear old mum, it's time to "pull up my socks". It's time to start tracking again, it's time to be conscious of every fucking piece of nourishment I'm consuming.
It's time to stop being a lazy asshole. Even though I'm super good at it.
